Saudi Arabia or Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the major Arabian countries playing a big role in influencing the world economy with its huge reserves of oil. Alitalia- Societa Aerea Italiana or simply known as Alitalia is the national carrier and flag airline of Italy with the head office located in Fiumicino in Rome.

The main hub of the airline is at Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport in Rome with two minor hubs at Milan Malpensa Airport and Milan Linate Airport. Other airports of importance for the airline come in the form of venice Marco Polo Airport and Turin Airport. Alitalia was lucky to inherit some of the important routes covered by Air One after the latter’s termination in 2014. After that point of time, it became the main operator of Pisa International Airport and Catania Fontanarossa Airport.
The subsidiaries of Alitalia have bases at Trieste Airport and Naples International Airport. It has been rated as the eleventh biggest carrier in Europe. Alitalia Airlines has been a part of SkyTeam worldwide airline alliance since 2009. It also operates codeshare flights with various airways such as Luxair, Air Serbia, Middle East Airlines, Jet Airways, Bulgaria Air, China Airlines, Niki, Croatia Airlines, Saudia and so on; the list is almost endless.
Etihad Airways owns a stake of 49% in the company since January, 2015. It even collaborated with airlines like KLM, Delta’s transatlantic venture and Air France so that the profits from the flights running over the Atlantic can be shared equally among the four.
